ROANOKE, VA – Tuesday afternoon The Salvation Army of Roanoke, VA delivered snack foods and bottled water to the responders working the fire burning on Nutter Mountain in Craig County. The U.S. Forest Service tells The Salvation Army that responders needed bottled water and portable snack foods to carry with them while they are working the fire.

Items delivered include:


  • 40 cases of bottled water

  • 192 boxes of oatmeal creme pies

  • 12 cases of pudding

  • 3 boxes of dried fruit
