It truly is amazing how many great things you can do at a Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center. And the things you can do go beyond the water parks, classes, fitness opportunities, swimming, recreation, plays, musicals and worship.
The Kroc Center in Kerrville, Texas is hosting a Soup-R-Bowl party on Sunday,
February 6...the day of the Super Bowl. They'll have to "HUGE HDTVs" and will be collecting non-perishable items to support their food pantry. Entry to the Soup-R-Bowl is $20, the donation for entry will assist in feeding the hungry through their soup kitchen. At the event they'll have door prizes and other giveaways
Space at the event is limited to the first 200 people that sign-up. Now, that's pretty cool, right? Folks are going to be able to watch the Super Bowl in a state-of-the-art facility (opened in the fall) with great atmosphere and for a great cause, supporting The Salvation Army's soup kitchen.
This is just an example of ONE great thing you can do at a Kroc Center. When our Kroc Center comes along, we're sure you'll enjoy just as many great opportunities.
